Brennen Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies is an official publication of Government Brennen College, Thalassery and is a double-blind peer reviewed research journal. It began publication in the year 2005 and continues till date. The periodicity of this journal is one issue per year. The primary aim of the Brennen Journal is to promote original research and to disseminate original research findings from various science, social science and humanities disciplines. The Journal upholds that articles, review articles, and book reviews published in the journal invariable should have international academic standard and would strictly follow advanced research methodologies. Being a peer-reviewed and refereed journal, it demands the contributors to undergo serious review processes. The Brennen Journal encourage scholars to contribute articles having interdisciplinary nature. While the Brennen College celebrated quasquicentennial in the year 2015, referring to the interdisciplinary research promotion undertaken by the Brennen Journal, Government of Kerala advised the College to create two interdisciplinary research centres of excellence viz, Centre for Convergence studies and Centre for Studies in Environment and Science. Brennen Journal takes it as an award of recognition for the academic commitment it renders for the last one and half decade.
