K.P.Prashobhith, was recruited by the Public Service Commission, Government of Kerala as a Lecturer in Physical Education on June 30,2007, Under Directorate of Collegiate Education at Government College of Teacher Education, Thalassery. He was transferred to Government Brennen College, Dharmadam as Assistant Professor on June 7,2011 and promoted to Associate Professor on June 30,2020. He was later promoted to Professor on July 31,2023.
As a Research Supervisor under Kannur University in Physical Education and Sports Science, he has over 20 years of teaching experience. He worked as a faculty member on contract basis at the School of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Kannur University from 2002 to 2007. He has published 14 articles in esteemed journals, including in the International Journal of Engineering Research and Sports Sciences, (Hyderabad), (ISSN: 2348-2400) , International Association of Scientific Innovation and Research (IASIR), USA, and NCERT Journals. He was awarded as the Best paper Presenter among 300 papers presented during the International Conference on Physical Education and Sports Sciences organized by Manipal University, Karnataka-2014.
Government Brennen College has been awarded the prestigious G.V.Raja award for the best college in Sports Excellence of the state for the year 2016-17.
He has visited foreign places like USA, Dubai, Qatar, Oman apart from attending various training sessions at IIT Chennai, Hyderabad Central University (HCU), English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), Osmania University, Indian Institute of Management (IIM-Bangalore), and Indian Institute of Science (IISC-Bangalore).
As a talented football player, he has represented Annamalai University in the All India Inter University football competitions thrice and played professional football for Tata Tea Sports Club,Munnar and Spirited Youths Football Club,Kannur for a few years.
Currently living in “BLOSSOM”, Thazhe Kayalode, Pinarayi Panchayath, Kannur District of Kerala, with life partner Dhanya and two daughters Veda and Medha. |
